Reminder

If there ever is a crossroads (and there will be), I hope I remember that the only real thing that will last, and has ever lasted, is love, and that everything else is a lie. Smallness/softness with no expectation for reciprocation is such a seemingly ineffective force. But it is the only thing that is real and lasting at all, so, definitionally, it is optimally effective. If I ever in the future (and I will) feel hopelessly lost or on the wrong path or in the middle of an impossible situation, I hope that I remember that the only things worth doing, regardless of your scenario, are impossibly small acts of love, which do not need be reciprocated in any way at all, and which are easy and natural to do in almost any moment regardless of the circumstances. That is the only thing that truly keeps any of the bad at bay. Luckily for us, as human beings, we are fully equipped with being able to enact these small doings on our small lives. That is what we were built for.
